Hunger 101AZ

October 7th, 2009

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance’s education program Hunger101AZ offers three feasts of knowledge each month to our agency partners, other non-profits, education associates, and the general public.

Hunger 101 is offering three different presentations each of the next three months on various days and varied times. We encourage you and your organization to check out the new Hunger101AZ training schedule attached. Then, please join us as we seek to educate and advocate about the issues of hunger, food insecurity, and improved nutrition in Arizona.

To register or get more details on topics or timing, contact Ray Combe at rlcombe@firstfoodbank.org or 602 343-3164, or Chet Provorse at cdprovorse@firstfoodbank.org or 602 343-3169.

If the scheduled times or locations are not convenient for your group, please contact Chet Provorse, Education Programs Manager, to discuss other times and locations that would better meet the scheduling needs for your school, corporation, or community group.

Remember: only through information and knowledge can we even begin to eliminate poverty, food insecurity, and hunger.
