In Ed Stetzer article, Beginning a Conversation about Christ he closes with word we all need to carefully process.
Today, the church is like a bear fed by tourists. It’s lost its natural ability. We need to share Christ in meaningful ways without just inviting people to a congregational event. In this (already too long article) I can just suggest one brief idea: let’s get that back by starting where people are, listening to them, building a relationship, telling them about Jesus, sharing with them the story of redemption, and bringing them to a bloody cross and an empty tomb.
AMEN!

The church has been neutered and have become ineffective in reaching the lost. In other words the church is what’s lost and it’s own fault. We are suppose to be responsible for your actions and yet we sit in our buildings passing the blame.

Might we also point out that the truth [singular]is in all of us.Plus,when our lives don’t match up to the truth[singular] we are convicted.At conviction, the truth tells us we must repent or our souls will become caloused thus diminnish our joy here on earth. Yes this church has been circumcised [not neutered] and have truth knowing with evedence that God is saving great multitudes of people outside of the local congregation. AMEN

I never meant to attack this specific congregation, when I said neutered I was talking about the common evangelical pew warming church (they know who they are). Your right each of us can discern the truth if we elect to. Just because it feels good doesn’t make it good and just because it’s the way we’ve always done it doesn’t justify our actions today. I’m new to bloging and confused about this discussion is it about the church Larry pastors or the general grouping of the common church? and who is circumcised and not neutered? Sorry I sometimes have a hard time following these conversation just ask my husband.
I personally love coming to this site, not only is it informative but also edgy. Let’s face it Larry asks many of the questions we think about. He sure sounds like the real thing.

The bible[THE TRUTH]witnesses that when there is no “church” we are the church.NO Building not including any congregation,pastor,choir,group tithing,ceromonial communion areincluded in the true church. This is why I take to exclaiming . This is also why Jesus had to leave earth and send us Gods holy spirit. Its the Holy spirit that teaches us andis our freind here on earth, we can beleive him.Not only has our movement[chritianity]questioned God since Genesis,denied God to his face in the new testement our sin marrs Gods image today. I pray that all become saved by the coviction of the holy spirit[circumcission].
