I prefer to think of my self as a toenail. Toenails are: not much to look at; the first pushed into the mud; most often ignored; appear insignificant and unattractive and usually the first to be stepped on. And yet every single toenail must be frequently trimmed and shaped or they grow out of control. Once out of control the once insignificant toenail affects the performance of the entire body in a negative way.
May God continue to trim and shape me into the man He longs for me to be.
Just thinking out loud, again.

Once again, my hat off to you Pastor Larry. Wonderfully colored description of what we ALL should seek to become. Just another insignificant toe nail. Brilliant, I’ll be using this one.
God Bless

Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth,
Who have upheld His justice.
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
It may be that you will be hidden
In the day of the LORD’s anger
Zephaniah 2:3
Nice illustration!

We can even add the fact that if a toenail grows improperly causing constant undue pain it can be removed PERMANENTLY. So a thought to the teacher, we can trim a toenail in such a way that it becomes painfully useless.
How a toenail turns out is partially decided by the trimer and the trimming device chose. So put the belt sanders away.

But Larry I was ready to assist in your trimming. I gues I can still get the deposit back on the sander rental.
