The dictionary definition of right is: free from error; especially conforming to fact or truth; "the correct answer"; "the correct version"; "the right answer"; "took the right road"; "the right decision"(WordNet). according to this definition I (as a Christian)am nowhere near right. In order for me to say I am free from error and complete would be hypocrytical and unbiblical. No one has been complete and free from error except Jesus Christ. And I for one do not want to count myself equal with him. So, THANK YOU GOD for putting up with my unrightiousness.

I agree completely with Larry on the subject of right. Doing something right, like accepting Jesus and getting it right are two very different things. Doing right, is an act or part of a process and getting it, as Larry is inferring, is the completed application. As Christians we are not done tell we give our last breath.

The only person I can speak for is myself and as I grow in my faith and look back over the years, all I can do is thank God for being patient and rather tolerant with me. My personal reflections show me as a weak, fragile person with limited faith. That is as I look back. What is funny is that during those time in my life, I thought I had it all under control and fully understood my faith (like I had it right, as if).

As we mature in our faith and becoming more Christ-like, we begin to see how sinful we really are. And that is the only thing we can totally get right. In other words understanding how sinful and desperate we need the savior only comes from spiritual maturity. And when do we become fully mature? Once we die, pass through judgment and live in heaven.

PS, Thanks for the wonderful posts, you've inspiring to me and others I'm sure.

I have a problem with the getting it right part. Everything else, I'm OK with. We get it right once we surrender our life to God. We then become a new person and live under the security of Christ. We cannot become anymore right than that. So we are then right.
