Our annual compilation of ministry salaries is out, and this year’s tally produced a few surprises:
• If you want to make more money, switch denominations.
• Female solo pastors make more.
• The extra degree is worth the money.

how much do you make?
Friday, 8. February 2008
Have you forgotten my question or is silence your answer?
Friday, 8. February 2008
Himerus Star, what is your infatuation with my salary? Are you my Brother-in-Christ, a member of our assembly, am I accountable to you or are you with the IRS? If you are, then call me or see me Sunday and I will gladly share with you that information and even more.
Then again just maybe you’re conducting a survey on really cool people. Better yet and more likely, your writing a book about the best looking people in America and your needing additional information for my bio. Honestly HS, I don’t see the importance so would you please elaborate?
While I’m here, I would like to ask you why you chose that screen name? Do you really consider yourself a roman god of lust and desire? Seriously, those are some mighty big shoes to fill.
I look forward to your response,
Sincerely
Larry D

Sincerly Larry, for the record he is a Greek God! Get it right and yes I do fill the shoes nicely. For the remainder of your questions its like this. I do not nor would I go to your church. I am a Wiccan and very pleased at that.
I just want to know and would like everyone else to know with me how much you make? Is this easy enough for you to comprehend or must I even simplify it further?

I see you’ve been on today, yet have chosen to ignore my question, why? What are you trying to hide?

Your email will not suffice, I am not satisfied with you letter of concern for my soul, so don’t try to save me I have my religion. Concern yourself with the question I asked you please, don’t try to change the subject.

Did he only give you some mumbo jumbo about Jesus and how he died for our sins crap? That if you would just say THEIR SIMPLE PRAY OF SALVATION all would be forgotten.
Monday, 11. February 2008
Deliverer, ya it was a letter about Jesus like you said. He was the first one that did not try to trick me into saying some rudamentary pray. I’ve had people send me letters & emails which included a pray and statement following like since you’ve read these words you are now a child of god. FOOLS. Christians, are they near or far sighted?
Waiting for Larry’s response on the other.

Hi Deliverer, oh how I’ve missed you!
I’ve been praying for you, and I’m really happy to see you’re back.
Himerus’Star - Nice to meet you too! That’s funny, I don’t recall resighting a prayer when I was saved, I just simply accepted Jesus into my life myself. And if you aren’t ready, that’s fine, no one else can save you. It’s all in God’s perfect timing. I’ll be in prayer for you as well.
To further answer your question: I do know Larry and I happen to know how much he makes for being a pastor (although I won’t say simply because I think he’s having a little fun with you guys), but I will say that you would be very surprised how much someone would give of himself to do God’s will and to help others.
Talk to ya later friends.

SInger, thanks for the kind words. You seem to be a really nice person. How can I get Larry to talk with me about my questions? Is it really such a big deal not to share your salary when you are supposed to be an example and encouragement to others.
How do I know that he is not like all the other blood sucking leaches out there. How are any of us to know. Think about it, he’s the one that made the point about salaries, so tell us. That way we can see where he stands on the great scales of justice.

Hi Deliverer, I missed you as well. I though you were signing off on your last post. I have been in prayer for you also.
Himerus Star, for those of you who don’t know I am the all too grateful wife of Larry. I am very proud to admit that. My husband at one time would have had great fun with all of you on what you call the Jesus stuff. He at one point did not buy into all of these things you all are having such a hard time with. Praise the Lord he is now a child of God and very committed to it. He works day and night for the Lord. He also runs a business and takes care of children and Grandchildren. for being a Pastor the only salary he receives is the gifts that God so generously gives him and I am not talking monetary. I hope that answers your question as I know Larry would never have given you that information because it just does not matter. We should not work for anything in this life if we expect to get rich from it because you never will.
May the Lord find Grace and mercy for you and shine his Love in your direction. And may your hearts be softened by that Love.

Terri Jo or Mrs. Larry, thanks for your time and openness about your pen name. I like how you worded it, ” the only salary he receives is the gifts that God so generously gives him and I am not talking monetary”. Are you saying that he does or doesn’t receive compensation for services rendered? It looks more like a fancy way of saying be does but they are gifts from god not us this way he can hide the gift in some tax shelter.
Does Larry offer vials of miracle water for small gifts from god through the suchers fooled into the toilet water scam. Don’t get mad this is my hypothetical example of how I see someone saying they don’t get a salary just gifts from god on the sacred altar of the tv.
So why is Larry having you deal with me?
Tuesday, 12. February 2008
Is there a deeper issue or is there a point to your requests? If you don’t go to church there it shouldn’t concern you. So what is the real issue and you being convicted?
Tuesday, 12. February 2008
Gals, I did not start this as a witch hunt (ha ha, I hope you get it). I read the story and wanted to see where he stood in the article. If this has part of another scam, trying to justified his salary or wanted raise, kind of thing. So yes I want to know and the more road blocks the more curious.
It’s human nature.

Hi HS,
I always love when I get the opportunity to give my personal testimony and I also have absolutely nothing to hide. I love Jesus and let me tell you why.
My husband and I were married many years ago when Catholicism was pushed down our throats until we were so disgusted with the whole religion thing we thought, lets live our own lives and see where it takes us. Through one of my employers I met a man, a Pastor, who did the same thing we all are trying to do to the unsaved, he tried to save me. I wanted no part of it for many years but he continued to witness to me with love. I finally, after about 3 yrs. found Jesus. What a time that was for me especially because my hubby was not on board. I prayed for him continually and after about a year he reluctantly came to church with me where he in a very short time was on fire for God. We prayed for our lives and direction in our marriage, but we truly believed and still do that God was in control. I had a job making about 40,000a year and we decided God wanted for me to stay home. We did it, Larry had a very stressful job making much more than me and God wanted him to quit and start a business. Folks, when you are faithfully listening to God he will guide you. Money should not ever be your motivation.
I will not go on over the next 10 yrs. or so but, to make my testimony short, These gifts from God are what every child of God has the opportunity to be given if they give their hearts and souls to the Lord.
To answer your question more definitively Larry receives no pay for being a Pastor but God has always provided a way for us to pay our bills and take care of our family and occasionally go on Vacation when needed. We have a very rich life and take every day to thank God for that.
I would not trade my life for anything and I know someday I will receive my reward in Heaven. I have definitely received it here on the Earth that has become so forsaken.
May God give you the wisdom and heart to follow him.
With Love Terri Jo

Not what I was expecting But thanks all the same.
