Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work…” In other words, if you are reluctant at best to share your story of how Christ died for you while you where still knee deep in sin, drop to your knees as ask for His forgiveness. How can we be ashamed of the one that gave his own life for us, How?

The only thing we should fear is God alone. Our friends, families and neighbors cannot condemn us. Yet by our own actions we can condemn ourselves, even those of us that profess to be a Christian. Matthew 7:22-23, On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Does this sound a little harsh? I hope so. I would rather you be challenged today to live for Christ, than to be fooled into a sense of false hope and trust. Satan longs for each of us to be complacent in our faith.
