Several of us from our church took off for three days to participate in the Harvest last year. We had a blast playing in the ocean and going to Down Town Disney and just fellowshipping together for a few days. But I must admit, the Harvest took the cake hands down. You could see the Holy Spirit actively affecting the lives of thousands of people.

I must confess one thing. The prior year my wife and I went alone with our youngest. It was our first Harvest and first time seeing David Crowder. I had heard of David and enjoyed listening to his music on the radio, yet I had no idea what he looked like. Well that year we sat on the first row next to the first base dugout and guess what? That is where everyone comes out to go on the field. Several people came out together and the crowd starts cheering for David Crowder. I saw who I though was David. Boy was I wrong! When I saw the real David walking out (remember at this point I do not know what he looks like) I thought he was a soundman or a grip (laborer) for the video crew. Imagine my shock when he (the sound guy to me) walked up to the mic and began to sing. I was shocked and amazed! The boy can belt the notes out and you can really feel and see his sincerity. There is no doubt that David is doing all he can to bring glory to the Father.

The situation reminded me of Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Oh how quickly we all (I included) forget. Enough said, I just wanted to reminisce for a moment.

Happy trails friends.
